René Furterer is a high-end haircare brand with salon-quality and natural products. They approached us because they needed a brochure that was as high-end as their products. It needed to look stylish, feel luxurious, and showcase what makes their haircare range stand out.
Brief
René Furterer needed something that really made a difference – a brochure that not only looked high-end but felt high-end too. It needed to:
• Appear luxurious – through the use of design techniques to give it this look.
• Appear interesting and engaging – with product photos and a premium looking layout.
• Communicate the message – balancing the luxurious appearance with useful information.
Our strategy
We designed a luxurious and stylish looking brochure that reflected René Furterer’s luxury feel. To make the brochure really stand out, we treated the front cover with spot UV print, which created a raised, glossy finish that made it look high-end.
We focused on:
• Making the layout look as premium as possible with clever placement of products and copy etc.
• Rich colours and clever imagery to capture the luxury nature of the brand.
• Premium print finishes – through the use of spot UV to highlight salient details and add texture.
The results
The final brochure was looked very high-end and premium, as called for in the brief. It proved popular within salons with staff and customers using or being interested in the products. We helped to place René Furterer’s products in the spotlight in a way that felt special and spoke about their brand values.
By simplifying the design yet making it elegant, and integrating upscale print components, we created a brochure that reflected the luxury of René Furterer. The result was an upscale, sophisticated brochure that stood out, like their haircare products.
