Christmas fundraising campaign for
St Clare Hospice.

Brief

St Clare Hospice provides essential palliative care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. St Clare Hospice had previously run Christmas fundraising campaigns and was looking for an agency to deliver an emotive campaign that engaged with multiple audiences. To continue delivering these services, the hospice set an ambitious fundraising target of £80,000 (£70,000 the previous year), which they hoped to achieve with our support.

 

Our approach

To ensure the campaign was successful, it was essential the creative resonated with all audiences regardless of age or the channels we targeted. Whether it was through social media, emails or traditional postal appeals, the messaging needed to engage and inspire.

 

The campaign centred around emotive storytelling, with a sensitive approach taken in the films:


Poem testimonials:
Patients and family members shared heartfelt poems about 
their own experiences with St Clare Hospice. This approach allowed the hospice’s impact to be moving and personal.

 

Celebrating nurses: We felt it was important for nurses to share their stories too, highlighting their dedication and the relationships they build with patients and families.

 

Results

The campaign was a huge success, but it’s even more impressive knowing these results were achieved with minimal ad spend. Despite this, the results exceeded expectations, showcasing how effective the creative was.
