It’s really important for any brand large or small, to have a clear and detailed set of brand guidelines. It means that anyone internally or externally, can confidently produce quality assets that accurately represent your brand. The type of guidelines we produce at MCS, will depend on the scale of the project. They can simply show the basic visual elements: logo’s, colour palettes and typography, giving rules around usage and in situ examples. Whereas more detailed guidelines may include items such as brand characters and icons along with the elements that truly define a brand – it’s core brand values, aims and tone of voice to ensure that anyone creating content for the brand really understand the brand essence.
